Aquatic Cannas
Canna glauca and hybrids (Aquatic Cannas) are true water cannas with some hybrids bred at Longwood Gardens (USA) and a few soon to be release cultivars bred locally at our nursery. These cannas have long spear-like shield shaped leaves and unusual butterfly shaped flowers. Other Cannas include Canna flaccida & Canna stuttgart that withstands waterlogged conditions. Should be planted in pots with at least 200mm in diameter and placed 5cms - 20cms below the water surface. Will grow up to a height between 4 to 6 ft tall. Sold in forms of rhizomes. Great as a stand alone plant in any water garden features. Dispatch anytime of the year unless specified.
Planting instructions is available for download here. Don't forget to include fertiliser tablets in your plantings.
All plants are supplied in BARE-ROOTED form (i.e., unpotted and free from soil media).
